Dana Earns Mahindra & Mahindra's Best Supplier Award

Dana's joint-venture facility in Chakan, India, supplies a range of Spicer^® axles and driveshafts to Mahindra & Mahindra vehicles, including the Mahindra Quanto, the company's first compact sport-utility vehicle.  Dana's axles provide greater ground clearance, improved fuel efficiency, and added durability for India's diverse driving conditions.

The Chakan facility is part of Spicer India Ltd., a joint venture between Dana and Anand Automotive Systems.  Established in 1993, the joint venture manufactures axles and driveshafts, as well as genuine service parts, for the automotive and light-commercial-vehicle domestic and export markets.
