Mark Wallace - President of Heavy Vehicle Products & Global Operations

Mark Wallace is president of Heavy Vehicle Products and Global Operations for Dana. He joined Dana in October 2008 as president of Operational Excellence, with a focus on operational planning, process engineering, and manufacturing footprint optimization (MFO). In 2009, he gained responsibility for Dana's Heavy Vehicle Products Group, encompassing the company's global Commercial Vehicle and Off-Highway businesses. Wallace came to Dana after nearly 20 years in the automotive industry. He spent more than a decade in leadership roles at subsidiaries of Webasto A.G., a leading supplier of open roof systems and thermosystems. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of Webasto Products N.A.; other positions included COO, general manager, and plant manager. Among his achievements at Webasto were: standardized production systems (based on the Toyota Production System), a stronger product development process, solid business growth, and customer recognition for the company’s North American manufacturing plants. Prior to joining Webasto, Wallace worked in various quality and production positions at Magna International and Cooper Automotive. Wallace earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee.
