Ken J. Cao - President of Asia Pacific Operations
Ken Cao joined Dana in October 2008 as president of Asia Pacific Operations. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating growth and activities across Dana’s 18 operations in the Asia Pacific region. Cao joined Dana after 23 years in the automotive industry, including several international leadership assignments. Most recently, he served as president of Asia Pacific Operations for GKN Sinter Metals, based in Shanghai. Prior to joining GKN, Cao served as vice president and general manager - China for Magna Donnelly from 2002 to 2007. He was general manager of Magneti Marelli’s facilities based in Shanghai and Guangzhou, China, from 1998 to 2002. Previously, he also worked for General Motors Corporation and Cummins Engine Company in the USA. Cao earned a Bachelor of Science degree in automotive engineering from the GMI Engineering and Management Institute in Flint, Mich., as well as a master’s degree in engineering from The University of Toronto, and an MBA in finance and general management from the University of Michigan.Cao is also a graduate of Nanjing Mechanical College in Nanjing, China, and completed an executive development program in global leadership at UCLA.
