Dana Corporation Inaugurates European Technology Centre

Hannover, Germany -- Sep 21, 2004 -- Dana Corporation’s (NYSE: DCN) Commercial Vehicle Systems-Europe group is fully utilizing its state-of-the-art Technology Centre in Pamplona, Spain, to accelerate the design, prototype, and production cycle for Dana Spicer® axles to more quickly meet the demands of European OEMs. The Technology Centre, officially inaugurated earlier this year, is equipped to perform static and dynamic testing for commercial vehicle axles, including vertical load, brake stop, end load, torsional fatigue, and dynamometric testing.

Through its affiliation with the Public University of Navarra and the Technological Park of Navarra, the Centre also supports the local automotive industry and the increasing demand for new design and technology.
