Dana Appoints Tom Stone to Lead Global Traction Operations

TOLEDO, Ohio, June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dana Corporation (NYSE: DCN) announced today that Thomas R. Stone has joined the company as president of its Traction Group. Mr. Stone assumes global responsibility for Dana's light-axle manufacturing and assembly operations.

Mr. Stone comes to Dana from GKN plc, where he most recently served as managing director - Torque Systems Group, GKN Driveline. Mr. Stone joined GKN in 1997 as vice president - operations, GKN Automotive and subsequently served as managing director - GKN Driveline Americas. His responsibility was later expanded to include European operations. Mr. Stone previously worked for Varity Corporation (now part of TRW Automotive Holdings Corp.), General Electric Company, Phelps Dodge Corporation, and United Technologies Corporation.

Mr. Stone earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Science from Purdue University and a master's degree in Business Administration from Indiana University. He also completed the Harvard University Advanced Management Program.
