Dana's Perfect Circle Division Honored by Ford for Zero Product Defects

    MUSKEGON, Mich., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Dana Corporation's (NYSE: DCN)
Perfect Circle Division has been awarded certificates of merit from Ford Motor
Company's (NYSE: F) Dearborn, Mich., engine and fuel tank plant and its Lima,
Ohio, engine plant for supplying piston rings with zero defects in 1998.
    This is the second consecutive year that the Perfect Circle Division, one
of the world's largest manufacturers of piston rings, has received these
honors from Ford.  In 1996, Ford commended Perfect Circle for shipping 101
million piston rings without defect.
