TOLEDO, Ohio, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning tomorrow, persons
interested in this year's Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW) show
need only travel as far as their computer screens to catch a glimpse of the
show and Dana Corporation's on-site exhibit.
Billed as the world's largest trade expo for the automotive aftermarket,
AAIW '96 will take place Nov. 5-8 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.
Event organizers expect more than 2,700 manufacturers from across the globe
and many new product introductions. Among these will be a major announcement
by Dana's Wix Filtration Products Group Tuesday.
Dana's AAIW '96 Web page (accessible from Dana's home page at
http://www.dana.com) will include pictures of the expo and information on
Dana's products and services. The page will also include a "Test Your
Knowledge" quiz on engine parts and gaskets, a Wix(R) filters store location
database, and tips from consumer automotive repair expert Roger Kwapich. In
addition, the show page will link to a site highlighting activities and events
in Las Vegas.
With its aftermarket focus, the AAIW show is an ideal stage for Dana's
products and services. Dana's participation in the show supports its
corporate objective to have 50 percent of its business come from distribution
by the year 2000.
The 3,500-square-foot Dana booth features Victor Reinz(R) gaskets, Perfect
Circle(R) piston rings and engine parts, Wix(R) filters and Spicer(R)
drivetrain and chassis parts. The booth will also feature a computer tied
directly to Dana's internet page, allowing visitors to visit Dana's Web site.
