Dana Corporation's Weatherhead Brake Products Division Receives QS9000 Registration

    FORT WAYNE, Ind., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The two manufacturing locations
and laboratory of Dana Corporation's (NYSE: DCN) Weatherhead Brake Products
Division have achieved QS9000 registration.
    QS9000 quality guidelines were developed as a cooperative effort of major
automotive manufacturers.  Registration is a requirement for all companies
wishing to supply the major automotive manufacturers.  Registration is
industry recognition that quality systems, policies and procedures are in
place and active and reflects a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Plant Manager, Weatherhead Brake Products' Columbia City manufacturing
