Dana CEO Hospitalized

    TOLEDO, Ohio, Sept. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dana Corporation
(NYSE: DCN) said today that its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Joe
Magliochetti, has been hospitalized as a result of pancreatitis following the
successful removal of a gallstone.

    During Mr. Magliochetti's period of recovery, Bill Carroll, President of
the company's Automotive Systems Group, will assume the responsibilities of
Acting Chief Operating Officer.
    The entire Dana Board of Directors looks forward to Joe Magliochetti's
complete recovery and swift return to his duties.
