FRANKFURT, Germany, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Dana Corporation (NYSE: DCN)
announced today that it has begun the supply of entire fuel-line sub-systems
for PSA Peugeot Citroen's new 1.4-liter DV4 and 1.6-liter DV6 diesel engines.

the life of the supply program, based on production estimates.

The DV series is a new second-generation, high-pressure diesel, common-
rail engine program.
"The development of a complete fuel line sub-system is a new avenue for
Dana," said Dana Chairman and CEO Joe Magliochetti. "We are excited to
provide a complete fluid-management solution to PSA Peugeot Citroen, while
continuing to strengthen and grow our presence in the European automotive
market."
The Dana-designed sub-system includes feed and return lines with quick
connectors, a temperature sensor, pressure regulator valve, and priming pump.
As part of the sub-system, Dana developed a new primer pump specifically for
the new DV engine series. This new primer pump can handle diesel fuel at 230
degrees Fahrenheit (110 degrees Celsius) and is created by a unique
multilayer, variable-speed, corrugated-extrusion process.
Mike Laisure, president of Dana's Engine and Fluid Management Group,
commented, "This is an example of how we are leveraging our existing process
technology and continually finding new applications. Dana's ability to adapt
its corrugated variable speed extrusion technology to design a fuel-line
system specifically for the DV4 and DV6 engines was a key factor securing this
project."
The DV4 diesel engine already has been installed on several Peugeot,
Citroen, and Ford vehicles.
