Mar 26, 2002

TOLEDO, Ohio, March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Dana Corporation (NYSE: DCN)
announced today that it expects first-quarter earnings before non-recurring
items to exceed current First Call consensus estimates of 8 to 10 cents per
share. The company has revised its expectations upward to 15 to 17 cents per
share, attributing the increase to stronger-than-expected first-quarter light-
vehicle volume and the results of its cost-reduction initiatives.
