Dana Corporation Earns Ford's 2000 World Excellence Award

TOLEDO, Ohio, April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Dana Corporation (NYSE: DCN) announced today that it has been honored as part of Ford Motor Company's World Excellence Awards. The award recognizes Dana as one of Ford's top suppliers in the world for 2000 performance. Thirty-eight suppliers from 14 countries won awards in various categories. Dana was one of 13 suppliers to receive Ford's Recognition of Achievement, which is given to suppliers that impact customer satisfaction by leading Ford key initiatives: high-mileage improvement, warranty reduction, environmental leadership, and consumer-focused technology. Dana was specifically acknowledged in the warranty reduction category due to the efforts of its Spicer Light Axle Group.
