Dana Corporation Executive to Participate in SAE Blue-Ribbon Panel on Automotive Alliances

TOLEDO, Ohio, March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Dana Corporation (NYSE: DCN) Automotive Systems Group President Bill Carroll will participate in a Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Blue-Ribbon Panel today addressing alliances within the automotive industry. The panel, which will focus on the theme of "Succeeding at the Alliance Game," is scheduled to convene from 4 to 5:30 p.m. today in Room W1-51 at Cobo Center in Detroit, Mich. Mr. Carroll will share insights gained from Dana's recent alliances with GETRAG Cie, a manufacturer of axles and other automotive components; and GKN plc, with which Dana has joined to form Drive-Tek Limited, a joint venture focused on the design of advanced driveline systems. Mr. Carroll led the Dana team in the establishment of both alliances and oversees their implementation as a member of their respective advisory boards. "Alliances represent a critical area of focus at Dana and across our industry," Mr. Carroll said. "We believe strategic alliances are enabling Dana and its partners to leverage cooperation and expand their capabilities with less investment.
