The program will comprise the first four-wheel steering system for a full-size truck product. QUADRASTEER(TM) by Delphi is an electronic four-wheel steering system that significantly improves handling and maneuverability in full-size vehicles. The unique four-wheel steering system electronically controls the direction of the rear wheels, helping shorten the turning radius on full-size vehicles. The smaller radius allows full-size vehicles to maneuver as adeptly as compact cars. "This is a tremendously exciting new technology," said Bill Carroll, president of Dana's Automotive System Group. "We look forward to playing an integral role in a system that we believe will provide unique value to the end consumer." Dana's global automotive axle operations consist of more than 25 manufacturing, assembly, and research and development facilities in 16 countries.
