Dana Corporation Facility Earns Quality Recognition from DaimlerChrysler Corporation

    MUSKEGON, Mich., Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Muskegon, Mich., Perfect
Circle piston ring facility of Dana Corporation (NYSE: DCN) has been
recognized for achieving a flawless quality rating from DaimlerChrysler
Corporation (NYSE: DCX).

    The facility received a 100-percent quality rating for the piston ring
components it supplied to DaimlerChrysler during the 1999 production year.
These Perfect Circle products are used on a variety of the OEM's passenger-car
and light-truck engines.

plant manager at Dana's Muskegon Perfect Circle facility.  "We are very
