Dana Manufacturing Facility Receives Nissan Quality Master Award

FRANKLIN, Ky., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Dana Corporation's (NYSE: DCN) joint venture operation in Franklin, Ky., Allied Ring Corporation, has received Nissan's 1999 Quality Master Award. Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corporation U.S.A. presents this award annually to suppliers who achieve a score of 85 or higher on a 100-point performance scale. The review includes quality, response time, cost- reduction capability, design support, timely shipments, product performance and complexity, warranty, and Nissan's own vehicle evaluation system. The Franklin facility is a joint venture between Dana's Perfect Circle Division and the Riken Corporation of Japan. The facility supplies oil ring expanders and consolidates and packs piston ring sets for Nissan's Altima, and Frontier pickup truck.
