Dana Realigns Canadian Aftermarket Operations in Move to Increase Customer Value & Business Growth

    ST. CATHARINES, Ontario, Nov. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Automotive
Aftermarket Group of Dana Corporation (NYSE: DCN) today announced a number of
organizational changes designed to support continued business growth and the
delivery of increased value to Dana's Canadian customers.
    The Aftermarket Group's Canadian-based Service Parts Division, which now
includes the former Echlin Canada automotive distribution, has created two new
sales units: an Under Hood group covering gaskets, filters, Weatherhead and
engine management products; and an Under Car group supplying a variety of
brake components, chassis parts, and universal joint kits.
    "This realigned structure will sharpen our product focus, streamline our
processes, and increase speed to market," said Tom Saxton, senior vice
president and general manager of Dana Canada's Service Parts Division.
"Ultimately, this will enable the Service Parts Division to better serve its
Canadian customers."
    In concert with the announcement, industry veteran Gerry Plener has been
named senior vice president automotive sales and marketing within the Service
Parts Group.  Reporting to Plener will be Bruce Saxton, director of Automotive
Marketing; Gary O'Connor, sales manager of the Under Car group; and Denis
Lepage, sales manager of the Under Hood group.  Tom Saxton said, "The many

aftermarket experience to the realigned organization."
