Dana Corporation to Discuss New Technologies, Industry Opportunities at 2005 SAE World Congress

Toledo, Ohio -- Apr 12, 2005 -- Dana Corporation (NYSE: DCN) announced today that several of its executives and engineers will address emerging technologies, as well as challenges facing the auto industry, at the 2005 SAE World Congress, April 11-14, in Detroit.

Chuck Heine, president of technology development at Dana, will participate on a panel focusing on the automotive industry’s role in developing opportunities with the U.S. military. Heine will discuss Dana’s development work with the military and others to incorporate Permo-Drive Pty Ltd.’s RDS™ technology into Dana’s Intelligent Hydraulic Drive™ system for the U.S. Army’s Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles.
