Dana Corporation to Highlight Core Technologies, European Focus at 2005 Frankfurt International Motor Show

TOLEDO, Ohio, Sept. 7, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dana Corporation (NYSE: DCN) will showcase a host of new products and make announcements regarding new technologies, business development leadership, and recent business agreements during the 61st International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, Germany, Sept. 12-25, 2005.

Dana's presence will include four kiosks highlighting the company's core competencies for the light-vehicle market - specifically engine, drivetrain, chassis, and structural products. Each of these displays will showcase a variety of current and future Dana products, including Intelligent Cooling™ pumps, advanced structures, and fuel-cell technologies.

Dana will host a press conference at 3 p.m. CET Wednesday, Sept. 14, at its stand, located in Hall 6.1, Stand B30. At the event, Dana will launch several new technologies, including an advanced metal coating process developed to increase the durability of diesel engines and an air/oil separator that helps vehicles run cleaner by removing oil particles from the engine's air stream.

Dana will also announce new business awards and introduce its new business development organization in Europe. Dana executives will be available for interviews during a reception following the press conference. Among those in attendance will be:

   - Charles F. Heine, president of Technology Development, and
   - Philippe Jean, regional vice president, Business Development - Europe.

IAA, sponsored by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), will begin Sept. 12, with press and trade days running through Sept. 16. The show will open to the public Sept. 17 and will conclude Sept. 25.

With more than 1,000 exhibitors from 44 countries presenting the latest highlights and trends, IAA is the world's largest auto show. It features the latest advancements in passenger cars, motorcycles, minibuses, and specialty vehicles; telematics; tuning equipment; and parts and accessories; as well as all other aspects of automotive-related services. The anticipated attendance is more than 850,000 visitors, including nearly 10,000 international media reporting on virtually all aspects of the automotive industry.
