Dana Recognizes Benchmark 100,000th Axle Manufactured at Plant in Como, Italy

COMO, Italy, November 8, 2005 - Dana Corporation (NYSE: DCN) announced the assembly of the 100,000th axle in August of this year at its Como, Italy facility.

Opened in 2003, the state-of-the-art plant was constructed for the assembly of agricultural axles and transmissions, replacing a 54 year-old plant. Since its opening in May of 2003, the Como facility’s assembly has continued to rise, with a forecasted 25 percent production increase in 2005 compared to the prior year.
