Dana Corporation Produces One-Millionth Spicer® E-Series Steer Axle

KALAMAZOO, Michigan, Dec. 5, 2006 – Dana Corporation announced today that it has produced its one-millionth E-series steer axle. Dana’s Spicer® E-1202I steer axle was produced at its Humboldt, Tenn., manufacturing facility today.

The one-millionth axle was built as a complete assembly with a PACCAR-proprietary front suspension, along with Bendix® air disc brakes and Spicer LMSTM aluminum hubs. The assembly was sequenced to Kenworth’s facility in Renton, Wash., for use with a new Kenworth T660 aerodynamic long-haul conventional chassis.
